Firmware Release V1.043 - December 21, 2020
OVERVIEW
This new release introduces many new features and enhancements for the mz-16 and mz-32 radio systems. While our previous release was primarily a maintenance release this release addresses many user requests with new and improved functionality which increase the value of your Graupner radio.
We have taken the “Centered Around You” capabilities of our radios a few steps further by giving you more control over presentation with the ability to assign image widgets to your models, custom startup screens, added system sound control, support for pressure sensors and new third-party hardware.
Besides some small fixes, we also enhanced many existing functions requested by our customers.
This new release provides updated English and German reference manuals and help screens reflecting the latest changes. Make sure you use the Firmware Upgrade Studio and check the resource files update box. When asked, select the applicable resources for your language (Help, Voice and Manual).
NOTICES
After loading a model used in a previous firmware release prior to v1.038 and before making any model changes you will need to cycle your radio power to ensure the model is stored in the new version format.
In this new version the widget structure has changed which requires saving the modified model widget. This can be done by loading the model which will automatically adapt the new widget structure and save it. To save the new widgets structure go to the System/System Set/Model Preset/Widget menu by saving the preset widget which will ensure that each new model will have the current widget structure. To apply the new widget structure to all of your existing models, load the model and from the System/System Set/Model Preset/Widget menu load and apply the previously saved preset widget.
For some languages, the folder Voice / Unit needs to be renamed from unit to Unit (Capital U) prior to performing the update. You can check the folder with the File Manager in the system menu. For some languages you may have to rename the folder in two steps. First from unit to Uni and then to Unit.
As a precaution backup all your models prior to performing the firmware update by connecting your radio to your computer, set it to USB mass storage mode (System/USB/Mass Storage) and copy all your models files to your computer.
FIXES
- Clearing Widget data has been corrected and will not clear timer widgets when the “Power on init” box is not checked in the model timer menu.
Control Notice: Corrected delay timing for phase dependent settings.
I/O Set: Corrected motor-stop function for the SP-Protocol.
System Notice: Changed phase normal to phase 1 as the phase identifier normal could be renamed.
IMPROVEMENTS

Voice Notice: Increased the maximum time delay for notifications from 60 seconds to 300 seconds.
Control Notice: Increased the maximum time delay from 10 seconds to 20 seconds.
Control Notice: When only 1 cycle is used with a delay time, the control notice will only sound after the set delay time.

First RF connection warning after power up is now announced after 7 seconds which provides the user adequate time to turn on the receiver.

iMSB also has an external Bluetooth module that works with all Graupner HoTT radios.
The iMSB Bluetooth module now also support the HoTT Viewer App for Android.
